My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
stupid question:
If a switch in a house is in an "on position" but the lamp that is plugged into it's socket is turned off. is it still sending/useing current?

Hugger Orange/W stripes- 1999 Z28 M6
She doesn't want the trouble of plugging up. She prefers an acoustic, so baby girl gets what she wants.
I found several "pink" ones. SamAsh had several online. Best one was $149 (Daisy something) and looked too cheesy to believe.
I'm getting her a pink gig bag though!!!!

it is sending yes, using no. the switch on the lamp in the off position has the 'open'. when the switch on the lamp is switched on, it 'closes' the circut and is then using power.
if you don't believe me, keep the wall switch on and unplug the lamp and put a paper clip in it. you will get shocked so that tells you power is going to the lamp but not the lamp/switch relay to the bulb to complete the circut, thus using electricity...

ok, so then even with the Lamp off, if the switch is "on" the power is still in use? fuck...we've wasted a LOT of energy then
