Hell you normally get a cost of living every year and every 2 years for time in service. I just went over 9 years. So I know I want get another pay increase till I pick up Staff or till I go over 10 years. Maybe if I go to the dessert I will come back A Staff Sgt. That will be the only way I get promoted in the Guard.
