Actually, it's my Alpine. My kicker is an older amp and isn't digital and is working fine. As far as I can tell the new digital amp circuitry doesn't like any extreme temps. Cold or Hot. Was talking to my bud that does home theaters and car audio. He says it's common

Mine has never gotten too hot. It's down in the bottom of my t top well under the box. It's not insulated enough and obviously is getting too cold. It's not 19 degrees without wind chill in your area
