drove up to race proven motorsports and dropped my car off. fixing a few things and adding a few things. if it all works out ill be able to pick it up in two maybe three weeks.

I'm having my clutch, brakes, and wiring checked out first because they've been giving me problems. After that it depends on whats left in my budget but I want to do intake, tb, intake mani, headers, y-pipe, and sfc's.

What kind of intake are you going with? An LS6?
If you're looking at the high dollar manifolds, I would hold off. They are almost pointless without doing heads and cam. By pointless, I mean the gains are minimal. And dropping a ton of coin on that would be pointless. So either get the LS6, or hold off until you NEED one.

Not exactly a high dollar mani, but i was looking at BBK for both intake and tb. I know not everybody likes them but the BBK intake is about same price as a new ls6 and I like what I've seen and heard about it. I also haven't decided on an end goal for the car so i figured this is a good base for whatever direction i choose to take it.

Just some information I've seen...
Cons: Heat soak & weight. The BBK Intake is just like your heads and block, it gets hot and stays hot for a long time and it is a lot heavier than a Ls1/6/LSX intake.
Pros: It does flow better and produces a little more power than that of the LS6 intake, when it isn't heat soaked. It can also be ported some to gain a little more.

I'm looking for a good reputable shop to put in my 4L80E in. I'm willing to drive about 2 hours away from my home to get it done but other than that I wont go any farther you guys know of any (I'm in pasadena MD)
