IMO, Quentin Jackson or any other high-ranked MMA fighter would destroy Bruce Lee. The MMA/UFC has proved that all that fancy karate crap is just that...crap. All the speed in the world doesn't mean a thing if you are on the ground. Bruce Lee was an icon and deserving of respect for not only his skill, but for bringing attention to MA, but some of you guys are giving him a little too much credit.
Was he a bad dude? Sure. Was he the best ever? Nah.

it wouldn't even be close.... your visions and thoughts are distorted by the shit you see on TV... first off... bruce lee is far stronger mentally and physically than any and every one of your silly little TV based fighters... i could go on for a long time but i don't have the time...

yes sir...
Bruce could take his fist 3" away from a mand chest and punch him with out moving back his hand... only forward... and send that 6"0 200lb man 6" across the room before he ever touched the earth again...
and yet some of these guys think these TV stars are the best...

No, please go on for a long time. Bruce Lee was STRONGER than say, Ortiz or Jackson? Please elaborate. The irony about my "visions and thoughts" being "distorted by TV" is delicious. Heck, I'd bet good money that a past-his-prime Ken Shamrock would make short work of Bruce Lee.

That's it? Pffft. Go back to watching action movies or practicing your "three-inch punch" in the bedroom...

Do you practice the "2 1/2-inch punch" in the bedroom because that sounds like all you've got...
You need to lighten up. I'm sorry you blew another engine and (despite your insults) I've got plenty of extra LSx parts in the garage and shed, so let me know if you need something.

If you look at anything Bruce ever said or any interview he had , he exudes confidence .. He is not cocky , but very confident ..

don't get me wrong... i'm not tryign to be a dick or mean... but if you have a clue as to what Bruce was capable of doing there is not one single modern man that could add up to him... his speed and reaction time made him seem almost psychic... if he was still alive and competeing no one would have the balls to do an all out brawl with him... no one...
