Yeah, the whole thread is spoilers about Cloverfield. Not the Mist. See the problem? That would be the same as if during the Mist thread I popped in with a thread about the ending of I am Legend. Two different movies. To just throw the ending in there, without any kind of spoiler alert, would catch everyone off guard. As for when should the alert be thrown in... how about the title of the reply, so when I get an email saying someone reponded and go to look at it, if I see a spoiler alert for The Mist, I can avoid the reply.

Well idk I mean thats a completely different movie that came out a while ago after a movie is out of theaters and you still are trying to stay away from spoilers you should have to give a warning because everyone who wanted to see it should have seen it already.. Not every time any movie in mentioned have to say its a spoiler I mean common and besides you don't know how they die or what exactly happens anyways its probably a different ending then the way your seeing it as how I said it..

I d ont know what you guys are talking about...but back to the subject.
Eh. I guess the monster has to be "unbeatable" or else the movie would be fairly short. However, its hard to NOT think like this because of how real the movie seemed with the actors. I mean, if the movie is selling due to realism, certain things have to stay in line.
However, Ill bet thats why a bunch of question go unanswered cuz it makes the beast that much scarier. "Man fears what he doesnt understand." We dont understand why it cant be killed...eh, its a good way to make it scary. Cheap, but effective.

Bright Red- 1999 Trans Am Ws6
Saw it, loved it! Thanks for explaining it though, I missed the whole satellite thing and the slusho involvement.
On a side note, statue of liberty, made of copper, it would have crumbled to pieces in that opening scene. It is extrememly thin and fragile. Screw the b-2 bombs, those tanks were firing sabot rounds. Tungston rods fired at enough speed to pierce 15 inches of hardened STEEL. And when they are in that hallway of beths building is it just me, or does it lean to the left first, then to the right, then uphill??? What were they using the star trek 1960's technology of just tilting camera??
Regardless of the movie and what you thought, you have to admit, that scene when they are on the balcony and the explonsion happens, then the scene on the roof after it, AMAZING.
