WWE Superstar Chris Benoit and family found dead...

its being noted that the steriods where not used by chris benoit on himself but instead he was giving them to his son who suffered from Fragile X Syndrome...

so to use roid rage as an excuse is wrong... Secondly yes their is a difference between what a doctor gives and what body builders abuse..

its just like alcohol, alittle bit might not hurt you, but indulge in to much and yeah you could kill yourself... any drug legal or not, has that type of power.

as I stated before Chris Benoit was a situation of a man who kept everything bottled in instead of dealing with it or seeking help and one day he snapped....

it could happen to anyone...

But why, why is it a factor? Cuz it was that last nudge that pushed him over the edge? How long do you people think this roid rage lasts? People that experience a tantrum, whether on roids or not, lasts MAYBE 2 min. Thats one helluva "roid rage" to kill your wife, then walk over to your son and repeat, or vice versa.

The media is gonna ride the shit out of this because theres nothing else to talk about. Did he leave a note? Do we know why he did it? No. So lets make up a reason....heyyyy, why not steroid abuse, doesnt take much to believe that!

Even some people cant have 1 beer without getting sick. You could (but not really within reason) get a doctor to examine you to see if youre allergic to alcohol, but ...well you get the point.

I heard there were Human Growth Hormones given to the son. Not for the syndrome, but because the nutcase thought his kid wasn't big enough.

Now...I have no idea how true that is.

Either way...no one has any reason to kill their children. Drugs, alcohol, stress, depression, etc are NOT excuses/reasons.
The reason...whatever it may be, is that something was wired wrong in this guy. I feel for his family and the family of his wife.
But it is too bad this pile had to take others with him.

i still think the wife pushed his buttons to much and he just exploded...

however all of these are variables that could have fueled the explosion:

depression
anxiety
keeping things bottled up inside
his sons illness
wife pushing his buttons
roids (legal or illegal drugs of any kind)
struggling marriage
hold time dealing with popularity

maybe he was tough on himself, a perfectionist not use to failing.... There was a combination of something in his life that added up and equaled an explosion.

To say he was crazy and something wasnt right about him, could be wrong. To say it was a roid rage is wrong (its just media obscuring the true issue to make ratings by saying wrestlers do roids).

I bet he was just a normal dude under to much pressure, and he came undone it happens all the time across the country. This time it was someone in the public eye and the media attacks it like a crow on roadkill....

Any of those things could have been the problem. Either way...something was wrong if he couldn't fix it without murdering.

There is only three explanations for murder to me. Military battles, protecting yourself and family, and loosing your mind.
Most of the time, the protection part doesn't even fall under murder. Same with military deaths.

I agree I dont believe killing someone is ever and option unless its for the 3 reasons you mentioned.

However when I mentioned to call him crazy. I meant in the sense of.....

jeffery dahmer was born fucked up in the head he was crazy from birth, which is why he could kill and eat people. Same with Ed Gein

chris benoit I feel was normal and snapped into a crazy state.

All of us have been pissed off enough to where we have done something we regret, like break something, push or hit someone, beat on our cars, whatever etc.... some people just take it to a wrong and deadly extreme....

Bob Ryder at 1wrestling.com recently spoke with close friends and confidants of Chris Benoit, there were apparently warning signs that something was wrong with Benoit. One person who wanted to remain nameless said:

"This wasn't roid rage, this was insanity. Roid rage doesn't last for 48 hours. There were signs that something was wrong. Stories have emerged that a year ago he became paranoid and believed he was being followed. He wouldn't let Nancy leave the house because he believed someone was out to get them."

In addition to this 1wrestling.com also learned that Nancy Benoit had a safety deposit box with evidence of past rages. She set it up that if anything should happen to her, authorities would be able to check the box.
