Last year I took my '69 Camaro to the highschool drags. It was sooo much fun! I too had a reputation that my car was going to be the one to beat. But I had never ran it on the track before. I though I was going to run mid 13's but I actually ended up running a 12.501 at 113mph. I made it to the last 10 cars but I lost due to a redlight. So the best thing you can do to get ready for the HS drags is try and go to the track before the HS drags and get some practice. It's all about consistancy not speed.

its in the hatch area. Passenger side - under the plastic that houses the speaker. You gotta turn these little plastic lock things then pull away the plastic.

Ummmm. I don't even have an ls1 genious. It's a 6 cylinder. It's my daily driver. I am saving up for an ls1. The 69 camaro is my hot rod that took me 1 1/2 years to restore. It way faster than anything you have. Oh wait I forgot, you have stripes. Just kidding. But seriously chill out.
