cause honestly if the car is so built, and a tune is so highly needed who the hell would run it anyways. If you air to fuel mix is that off you just take a chance of the engine. Or the car wouldnt stay running!


If the car is running enough to race it, then a losing because of the lack of a tune is a poor excuse...


I really wonder if people know what tuning the pcm is all about and what it does!!!

The Cobra stalls a LOT. You can smell the fuel, it goes through plugs every few weeks, and a lot of the time it isn't running on all eight cylinders. It may be a poor excuse, but it's valid.

Should the car have been modded before adequate funds for a tune were available? Maybe not, but it's not up to you or anyone else, just the owner. Is it stupid? Maybe, but again, it's up to the owner.

We understand not being able to tune it right away. Money doesn't always fall from trees.
BUT...racing it when it is running that bad??? Stupid.
I wouldn't have even allowed my friend to race it like that....talk about trying to fuck up a build.

well that is a great way to ruin the engine and that is a waste of mod money then!

tunes yeah can be costly from $350-$500. but if a car is running that poor why would you even try to race it?

If the mustang is modded so much that the car can not run with out a tune, then YES this mustang should beat a stock camaro!

btw noone asked her to leave and we dont want her to leave. People debate its normal. Its also normal to be debated when your new and your have not proven your knowledge.

I had alot of people flame me because they didnt believe an all bolt-on z28(mine) could dyno 357rwhp on a mustang dyno and 376 on a dyno jet and turn the quarter in mid 12s. Well my car did it, and even with the dyno sheets posted and track slips, not every one believed it and still gave me shit!
