Arctic White, red/gray- 1997 Corvette, 92 Typhoon
I disagree. One just happens to be better in the turns because it is smaller, made of lighter materials and therefore is lighter. They are production cars and it todays worst if you build a performance car it better to be able to go straight and take turns or your competition will be sure to tear you apart publically. The z06 would most likely take the challenger in a straight line as well with equal drivers.

Apples to oranges. The Corvettes Vipers are two seat sports cars as opposed to the Challengers, Mustangs, Camaros, etc which are pony/muscle cars. Different categories. I don't expect it to beat the new Z06.

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
The big three all have factory drag cars. Now they will all have track cars. Its the 60's/70's all over. Will the 70's/80's with low power numbers be far behind?

Well that has yet to be seen but that is most likely how it will be. I think the zl1 is a better comparison as the z28 is somewhat of a stripper car. It does still retain alot of comfort pieces though. Such as a radio.... even if it is a 1 speaker only system.

I mainly want to see what Dodge does for the '15 Viper refresh now. Gen V with 800+ hp? Yea...I'd be sold.

Silver & Blue- 02 Camaro SS, 04 GTO
I just read that the 2015 Hellcat will have 707hp and 650tq and it will weigh just under 4000lbs. sounds like a low 11 sec. car to me. Gee, I wonder if it will handle worth a damn.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k
