Skyrim!!!

This game just went up another 50 points in my book since finding out there's a quest you can do where you get shit faced.

I got plenty done yesterday. Completed the Diplomatic Immunity quest, killed a giant, killed my third dragon (right outside the front door of me and my wifes house while she slept inside), cleared a few places and became a member of The Dark Brotherhood. Closing in on lvl 11.

Completed a couple more Deadric quests. The one with Sheogorath is pretty funny. The guy who does his voice is great.

Are we able to get in there and explore, or is it only visible through the gate opening? I could understand a glitch like that, especially if Bethesda used the previous games maps to build the Skyrim map from.

i really hope somebody makes a mod that adds headshots with arrows! would be nice to have a 100% crit chance (after armor check?) on a headshot! kinda silly to be able to plunk 14 arrows in somebody's face and they are still after you.....

they have some nice mods for the PC which are mostly to just pretty it up now... there will be some big mods that change quite a few things which is why i really enjoy the PC versions of these games. the other reason of course is the use of a keyboard/mouse instead of retarded controllers which only degrade ability....

that would be like using a bowling ball in a game of baseball....

I'm not a fan of using a keyboard to move around. Especially in a vastly expansive game like this. I have Diablo II and Starcraft II on PC, so I know what it's like to an extent.

this makes me see you have no clue what it's like... diablo II is/was point and click to move. skyrim is like any other FPS game were you just press wsad to move around and use the mouse to look around. as i sated in my last post using a console controller for this game (or any FPS game) would be like using a bowling ball in a baseball game... it's the reason i sold my PS3.

anybody else play the game through steam or at least on a pc?

I played Oblivion on the PC, and have Skyrim on the 360. I prefer the 360 over the PC. But that's just me. The console version seems to play better IMO. Maybe it's an easier layout, as I don't do a lot of gaming on the PC as opposed to the 360. I'm more used to the controller, so it's easier for me to get the hang of it quicker. To each his own though. I did like all the mods I was able to use for Oblivion.....
