After you get out of the bar scene Its not much fun going out if you go out again. I think back now and say what a waste of time and money.

I see it as an expensive boring waste of time. I honestly dont understand why people find it so fun? You could get just as drunk for way cheaper at home lmao Whatever. I'm 29... The bar scence was fun when i was 21 but after a year or two of that I was done.

I'm the same way. Actually stopped hanging out with some peeps because all they do is go to the bar always. I like it once in a while, but NOT every weekend. Much rather have a night in playing card games and board games while drinking and when I'm out I rather go do something more active like you mentioned; sporting events, shooting range, go karts, mini golf, amusement parks, the zoo, museums, festivals...etc etc.

They are changing a PI law here in IN. A friend of one of our state house legislators got a PI walking home to his house. The cop saw him walking, maybe staggering a bit, and he gave him a PI. He told the cop he was walking home since he was too drunk to drive, and this was the reward.

Anyway, the new law will be that you can't get a PI in this situation, as long as you aren't endangering yourself or others.

Finally, a good change in the law.

In Lincoln, cops wait outside of bars and give out PI all the time. You never know which bar they will wait at and most of them are next to each other so it's hit or miss.

I done the bar scene for quite a while. The reason I went was for UVA college student that was a waitress and several of the local bands that played. I got discounts on beer and never paid a cover because I would go early park my vehicle at her apartment then go to the bar with her and help them set up. Then I would ride to her apartment with her and stay over because I was drinking and wanted to be with her. Most likely I was under the legal limit but none the less it was way safer.

When she graduated my best friend was old enough to go in the bar but not old enough to drink so he took over the designated driver job. then it became a game of who could get the most names,numbers,and adresses in a night, along with the bands and still paid no cover charge and discounts on drinks because we went early and helped set up.

the bar right next door was owned by the same lady and was set up for famous bands and singers. Seen David Allen Coe, Cinderella, Montley crue, and poison in that bar. I also bought tickets to see Charlie daniels, and one of the better local bands that opened for him at a park near by,and Mark Chestnutt tickets through there.
