Why does the QB need to run??? If you have a good O line he should not need to. I know he does not have the run stats but Bradford can run. I guess I look at O lines different. A good O line lets the QB stay in the pcoket as long as he needs... A shitty O line lets the QB be sacked all the time.. Or has to run..

He doesn't have to run. Florida is the master of the option this season. When the defense has to stop the RB from running, the QB from running, and the recievers from catching, they can't do it all at once. And wherever they mess up, Tebow makes it count. How do you blitz a QB that can outrun the D and nails his wide open WRs? How do you stop the run when you don't know if its the tailback or the QB that has the ball? Thats why Tebow kicks so much ass... he doesn't need to wait in the pocket for the crappy big-12 cornerbacks to mess up their coverage.

As far as the QB position goes..... Bradford > Tebow. Tebow is an option QB that will only succeed and put up the big stats in college FB. You'll see Bradford playing on Sundays while Tebow is sitting on the sidelines learning to be a QB ala Charlie Batch, Tommie Frasier, Eric Crouch, Charlie Ward, Troy Smith, and the list goes on and on. I hate the 'option' offense cuz I feel it robs good athletes with potential, such as Tebow, to learn what it takes to be an NFL QB.

demps is good... but he just isn't an up the middle kind of guy, hes small... and FAST. We were without both of our top RBs tonight... rainy(shit I cant spell his name right lol) was out with a groin injury... its funny I never heard them talking about that during the game either...

You'd lose that bet there, Sherlock. I'm not a big Tebow fan, although he is a good QB, and so is Bradford. I'm not even much of a Florida fan. As said earlier, Bradford will most likely have more success in the NFL, but we're talking college right now, and Tebow & company will win the championship.
They got beat by an UNRANKED team - so what. I guess the ones using that argument also think the NY Giants aren't as good as the Tennessee Titans because the Giants lost to Cleveland (the equivalent of an unranked team) and the Titans lost to the Jets (not #1 but certainly a ranked team). Well, they would be wrong.Last edited by mbrownin; 12-07-2008 at 09:18 AM.
