Have you ever driven around in an hotrod or muscle car? It's fun as hell. I'm not sure what you drive but to many a '98 trans am is an old car, but many prefer them to or wouldn't even consider owning a new car

Specifically about those stations - after a while, the music blends into a depressing, formulaic mess, just something to provide a little mood stimulation. I want more than that, enjoyment.
FYI: Consider my age (I'm 55). I fell in love with some of these cars (in particular 67 Camaro's) when they were new. The passion has yet to wear off.

Enjoyment is where you find it and what you make of it. For me it comes from a variety of things and a multitude of sources.

I guess I should have combined these but I hope you get what I mean.

I mean older than 4th Gen. I've probably never been in an older sports car.

My Camaro is the newest car I'll ever own I'm pretty sure. If I had my druthers , I'd probably take just about any 60's early 70's in prestine condition over most new cars today. (Not talking about exotics etc...)

Point being that if you own a 4th gen you like an older car, some people just go further back with their likes. To me our 385 rwhp formula is boring as hell to daily drive. Just blah. My truck is no fire breather, nor does it handle or stop particularly well (for a truck it does), but it's just different to me, in a good way. I also love having the ability to and needing to wrench on it frequently. It's different than everyone elses' car too. There are five or six ls1 4th gens, couple of v6 4th gens, two chicks in ls1 vettes, and a shit ton of mustang at my school. How original

Most of them don't appeal to my eye, that's all. Although I know a guy with a classic Vette and now I'm thinking of going to an event with him on the condition that I get a little ride in it. It's about time I get in any Corvette. If I catch him listening to soft rock
