I can understand that and it does make sense. Guess I'd have to find the right buyer but good thing I'm not looking to sell it

You need to keep paperwork on the company you bought the engine through. Also installing the engine yourself will make people think something is up. When you tell a seller it has a new engine they usually want to see an invoice from a shop who installed the engine. If you tell them you did it yourself they might be scared away because unless you are a certified tech you are just some random guy doing random work. If you have no paperwork on the engine then it is pointless to even state it has a new engine because it does not raise the value of the car if you have no proof.

My mechanic buddy is installing, not me. His Dad owns the shop where he works and said he would write up a invoice

There you go. Keep the invoice from the engine purchase and from the installation and you can advertise the car as havign a low miles engine. It wont raise the price very much but it will atleast get some buyers interested over a caddi with 100k miles on the original engine.

I washed/waxed her up today and she is gorgeous for a 1994 car
Before wash/wax:
After Wash/Wax:
Body I would say is solid 7.5/10 for its age. Going to get some touch up paint and get a few nicks taken care of before they rust. We start pulling the motor tomorrow

Some pics of the work going into this and new rims to boot
(A friends set of wheels he was just playing around with)
New motor was filthy for a 34XXX mile motor but I started cleaning it up. Damn Lac's and their oil leaks

) and he has a 4 month old Daughter so he can't really put 8-10 hrs in at a time. I'll have video and pics up as it progresses and fire up of the new toy

YESSS!!!
Back on topic, we will be working again on it around Wednesday. Suppose to be 73 here with sun so grill and beers will be coming into play. Old motor should be pulled that night. Not sure if I want to keep it and slowly rebuild that motor for a spare or to just scrap it
