Thanks, I was so worried that the job would look hacked. It came out better than I could have hoped for. Now I need to upgrade the amp and speakers.

what i have been looking for is the side mirrors, i want the blue color like BMW and other luxury cars have. no i dont want to tint them. ive seen one T/A with them on photobucket thats it. anybody ever seen them?

I believe LT1 t/a came with them. Not sure about how many or what exact years but I only heard about it somewhere. Havent seen too many pictures of them even if thats true.

I've heard that either the 98 or 99 models came with the blue tinted side mirrors. I'm not positive which it was, I think it was 99. Anyone know for sure?

I think early '99 Trans Am 30th Anniv 00 had em' on. I might be wrong....

no they did come with the blue mirrors. wish they did though. im not talking about the outer shell of the mirror. im actually talking about the glass of the mirror. look at a BMW,JETTA,&SOME ACURAS. look at the glass for the side mirrors ,youll see what i mean. they would compliment a black trans am very well

Dude i'm trying to help you out.

Actually the production yrs were 94-98 for fbodys
But these are the correct part #'s for the Blue Tinted Mirrors/Glass only.
Talked to my boy at the GM Dealership Parts. These are the Blue Tinted Mirrors Glass only, 100% Guarante.
LH Mirror only GM Part #10279516
RH Mirror only GM Part #10279515

The other 2 part #'s are for the complete mirror assembly.

'98s only ... reference the f-body differences sticky
... and every '98 i've ran into has them, including my own.

Yeah they came on my Trans Am when I got it they are nice but not really noticeable unless you know what you are looking for, nice tho. also mine is a 98 Base line TA.

I have a 97 firebird and it has the tinted mirrors, but i am the 2nd owner so they may have been changed along the way

well i check my dealership with those part numbers. hope they are the blue glass, that shit is sweet. they arent very noticable, but its the little changes that make the big picture in the end.thanks for the research guys. is there any one who could take a picture so i can see what it would look like, the only picture i ever saw was a close up practically glass only, not a full spectrum picture.

I had the blue mirrors on my 97 Firebird (3.8L) I think they are called convex blue really helps with the glare from other peoples headlights at night and only cost about $30 per mirror.
