well i hit 178 in my moms s/c dinan 740il
160 somtin in the ss on sunday
153 in my '84 7 series
and 248 mph in my 96 windstar with the radar jammer.. god that cop hated me.. seen as though i forgot it was on at 3:00 a.m. he knew it was me

about 135 in my thirdgen when racing another Iroc. He had a 350 as opposed to my 305. He was about two lengths ahead of me when we caught up to traffic.

about 160 with my heads and cam in 99z28(RIP thanks to my girlfriend)
185 with heads and cam in 99c5 with my brother in the car before i blew up the engine.
180 twice and over 170 numerous times with the my LME 408 stroker 99c5, i always wanted to try for 200 but now with the addition of my last child, just knowing that the 500rwhp is enough to put me at 200 is enough. 2 many things can happen to get you airborn no matter what you do to prepair the car for high speeds. BTW now i have a broke #7 piston i am trying to change out in my garage thanks bubba

Hmm went up into Canada a couple of times a few months back..
I don't know for certain, but I am told a ticket there can't or won't follow you back across the border. ( ie Insurance costs) altho, if I had been busted for it, an arrest is an arrest (heh).
Late night and I was curious ( had some hemi whatever Magnum playing with me) I tried to touch the pavement with right foot for the life of me.
I am told that the SLP builds with 17's have a higher speed govenor than the 16's do.. Uncertain still if that is bogus or correct..
BUT I saw the needle slide on by the 155 mph mark and keep on going...I probably held the pedal down for another 10-20 seconds after it disappeared..
So How Fast ? Dunno, was fast as I ever care to be on a public road in a car tho..
Had an old 89 ZX10 (Kawasaki) had a few goodies in it, dyno'd 147.3 at the wheel. I think the speedo went to 195, I KNOW bikes are not that accurate, so when I think it hit 200 I was probably more like 180s but I took that beyotch as fast as it would go on Military Trail outside of Boca Raton FL. at about 2 am.. Lemme tell ya... cars on the highway feel like they are Racing AT you at those speeds..Weeee ( dumb as it gets, but I was a teen ager back then and thought I was invulnerable )
