Double check all the pushrods.
Make sure all the rockers are torqued down to 22 ft/pounds.

so i'm guessing if it's not the rockers, or pushrods it has to be a lifter.?

Most likely.
I have a large torque wrench that fits. Just takes a little patience.
And make sure you are using an 8mm socket that has 6 sides. Don't want to strip those rocker bolts.

The heads alone are a one day job.
Unless you have a lift...then you can just drop the motor and do it much quicker.

Should be.
New head bolts and gaskets are a must.
And a sharpie for torquing down the bolts. 22 ft/pounds, then 90 degrees, then 90 degrees. Sharpie makes that 90 degrees much easier to see.
