you forget out of the car companies you listed toyota is the best. hands down. best would be the single turbo supra. boosted to insanity. just by the boost controller

The question is too open ended. By greatest do you mean fastest? Best looking? maybe the one that really started the trend? Or maybe the one that blew the whole market open?

Looks are subjective. Fastest is probalby the Supra however they are Dyno Queens. The one that really started it all was the MkI GTI, and the one that blew the whole thing wide open was the EG Civic (1992-1995).

my boyfriend has a single turbo supra and i hate being in it cause it makes me feel slow...... of course he dyno ed like 430 to the wheels i hate him! so im gonna have to say supras are the best import screw everything else

as much as i don't care for imports... I chose RX8, mainly for style and AWD.

I am aware of the others here being AWD.

I think the supra is... but I might be mistaken, as I don't care to learn much about imports... but if it is... and I know the reputation the supra has... and to be honest

I think the Supra is over played... like MC Hammer

Hey guys.....im 18 yrs old and ive owned 2 Z32 300zx.....someone said they came with targa tops....they dont....there standard with T-tops....I loved them....my 1st car was a NA and it was fun as crap, then got a mr2T which was also fun but very small compared to the Z....then i got the z32TT....fun and decently quick and that was on safety boost (7psi instead of 9)...now a days, Z's are getting old and its hard to find one that hasent been beat on hard, and to find one of those is gonna be expensive...Z's are a good bang for the buck, but i would hafto say either the Evo or Supra....the evo over the Sti becasue power is ALOT easier to get on a cast iron block instead of a cast aluminum....the flat4's that come with the subies are made for handeling and not speed and for that matter, its hard to get as much power than a evo....the supras can just be simply insane with the power potentials of the 2jz...inline 6 over the v6 that the 300z and 3000gt has becasue it can hold ALOT more boost....

Why is that not on the list man the DSM (eclipse, talon, laser) is the best import car for street racing ever!!! and stop talking bout crankwalk, crankwalk was only a problem on the 92.5 and up motor (7bolt), not the 90-92.5 (6 bolt)...the 6 bolt 4g63 turbo is my favorite engine ever, yes, i admire it more than an ls1... i had a 91 tsi funnest car ever, if you could look past the disaterous drivetrain

i love my ws6 but i miss my tsi awd...nothing like that launch....
