Yeah, I actually started looking at circle D or Edge converters. They are alittle more but seem to have better materials and of course buisness historys. Since ill have alittle more money to play with, i figure up the quality a bit. Compromising between shocks and converter.

Ignition Orange/Black- 2008 G8 GT, 98 Z28 383
Lol I was an MP over there and we used to DO donuts in the winter in the jeeps.
Also, just FYI the hockenheim ring is not too far from where you are, when I was there it was 10 euros on thursdays for as many laps as you want, open track to pretty much any type of cars. I ran my 2000 Trans Am several times on it and had a blast. It's an F1 track located down a little ways south of Heidelberg. We were only about an hour and a half drive from Bamberg if I remember right.

Stationed in K-Town and just got here. Funny thing I was just telling my wife about this cool race course I heard of yesterday and that I plan on going. Wasn't sure of dates and prices but if you decide a date when you are going I will definitely tag along. Car is stock but I hear they love American Muscle Cars though. How far is it from K-Town and how far are you stationed from K-Town?

Well an up date preping for Nordschleife.
Getting a 3200 TC
And also getting an STS system... before you bash and hate crime me... dont want to hear your negative critizisms. Ive been readin gup on them and seen what i need to get it to work correctly. If you have a POSITIVE addition to the install by all means lend me your knowlege but if you coem in here saying their junk and swing this thread into a 100 post sts bashing thread.. i will ask the MODs to do what they did to me once, that infractions be handed out and your non contributing post be deleted.
Yeah I know its not the best kit. Yeah, I know its a pain to tune. Yeah I know its in the rear. Yeah I know most of ya'll dont like it. YEah Ill probably have to get a few things to modifiy it.... by the way, its used and already modified. More on this when i get it here. Getting it for half of what the brand new kit costs and already has a T70 with it, better oil pump, I think couplers and tbolts, FMIC, and other stuff like tucking the turbo up higher to help with ground clearance. Im also looking into 60# injectors, A good fuel pump (possibley duel walbro thing), LS6 INtake manifold and PCV thing, catch can, check valves and setting up the PCV to work with boost. Ill also try and shield the turbo some how and also run the intake up into the gas filler cavity and semi close it off.
YEs ive been doing my home work. Im aiming for 5psi for starters getting it up and running. for now 450 maybe 500 is good for me. Theres a dyno tuning shop and hour away from me here in Germany that tunes american cars. So yes, it will be a rearmounted turbo based of the STS kit design. Its be modified to work better. with that said, If anyone can help with this more I welcome the inpute. Yeah i know frost wont tune it now lol. wish he would but oh well.
As for times Still looking at March, April, and even May for going to the RING. Even gonna go to a thing here called German Race Wars thats all about drag racing. So I will even get some new Quarter mile times in. baseline was 14.1 with almost no modes other then lid and muffler. CAnt wait.Last edited by JoshuaGrooms83; 01-19-2011 at 01:27 PM.

not bashing sts ..but isnt the ring notorious for being uneven and bumpy..you may want to be very careful with your rear mount sts turbos..would hate to leave them on the Pflanzgarten
