If you're referring to steaks. Why do I need to do steaks for myself when I can get the best steaks in town elsewhere and on a much better grill?

I thought is was about the grilling... Some of us just like to grill and will grill just about anything

I know how to grill a steak, Dena. You'd understand if you had the steaks I've had.

I've had steaks done on everything from a Tek Grill, Hasty-Bake, Big Green Egg, among others. I've grown up in a family of grilling and BBQing. It's pretty hard to describe, beyond that. You'd have to taste it, to believe it.

Yeah. I know. I had this camera for almost a year and I am still learning how to use it. I am used to the old-style drop-in film camera. FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

put the object you want sharp in the middle of the frame. press the camera button lightly, the camera measures focus and exposure. pan until the desired frame is achieved, still holding the button half pressed. fully push button to take the picture.

I think I had the camera on a different setting for indoors. On AUTO this came out pretty good IMO:

I don't like shooting on Auto. I like being able to control the exposure and shutter speed on my own. That's still a decent shot of the car though Goat.

so what you're saying is you're a helluva lot better photographer than outdoor bbq'er. Maybe someone can grill the food and then you can take pictures of it for them.
