Thanks, you too!! You would think with only 15 entries that they could try and fit the last few in SOMEWHERE.

I hope they also give the guys without 9 second cars a chance as well........

like (ehem) me

However, I noticed this year that you are using an image we were given for our calendar last year. As I am sure you agree, producing a calendar with unique images is a goal we all share. When we receive submissions, I always request that the person sign a waiver giving LS1Tech full ownership of the images so that they can not be reproduced elsewhere. I assume you do the same because obviously we do not want the same images showing up elsewhere. Although you are not using the exact same image as the one seen in our 2007 LS1Tech calendar, it is extremely similar (vehicle, background, model, etc.). I usually do not take submissions from vehicles that I know will be in another calendar because I know that members will be purchasing both and my goal is to offer variety and of course, respect in regard to other sites. I know the members want to be in them all, but I would like to figure out a way to keep this from happening in the future. Again, my concern isn't so much the legal angle but the unique angle. I would like to communicate with you to determine how we can keep pictures from being shared across both calendars. Let me know if this is a concern for you and if you would like to discuss these issues.

Well thats funny, so when will you let those who submitted know if they are in or not?

jaison already stated the judges are still deciding. they cant inform whose cars are in or not based off of an open decision.

ps. I don't buy ls1tech calendar since I can't see a mini view of their product first.

Wow, I was actually trying to approach you in a polite manner. I assumed you were looking for the best interest of the members. I guess I was wrong. Seeing as how LS1Tech normally produces their calendar first, I was trying to HELP you. In the past, I have had enough respect for this site not to publish pictures of people that you will have in your upcoming calendar. I guess we should not make that an issue. If you don't mind reproducing our used pictures, that doesn't really bother me. However, using a picture from a photoshoot that LS1Tech owns the rights to could get sticky unless a copyright is provided... but I was trying not to make that an issue. I guess your response to my email shows in which direction you would like to take this. Good luck with your calendar!

Drama!!!!!!!! who cares honestly its a tiny calendar, is it that big of a deal?? and worth loosing thousands of dollars over in a legal battler for nothing? if a member submits a picture to this site how would anyone here have a clue they submitted the same picture over on tech?
