time to time
so from time to time i pour 4 oz of Marvel Mystery Oil into the brake booster line and let it set in the cylinders for 30 minutes, then on restart I kill all the mosquitoes in the yard, lol, just like sea foam does. IM still using tcw3 though.Have a half gallon of it left. No problems so far, idle is better, mileage is at high 16s on the road.

I have been using it for about 10 months now. I have noticed nothing in the TrailBlazer nor in the 2010 Camaro but my supercharged 6.0 in my 2500HD runs much smoother and starts better when I use it. Every so often I forget to add the oil after a fill up and I can tell a difference in idle with and without oil.

tcw3 2 cycle oil
I read Sarges intro again and if ur engine has been on tcw3 for sometime now, u probably wont feel or see any more improvements except for the on going cleaning and easy starting and idles and mileage should stabilize. Its a inexpensive cleaner and luber for our fuel system and valves, and carbs or fuel injection which is what those 10 dollar bottles at 8oz each do that take ur money.
My engine lite went out forever after some usage of tcw3 and now has been off for weeks, go figure, it had been on for years.
Where is Sarge anyway, most likely coming up with new stuff.

tcw3 2 cycle oil
almost thru with my 1st gallon of 2cycle oil and all is well. My engine lite is out still, mpg have stopped at about 16.35 to down to 15.5 depending on my right foot so Im happy. Engine idle is rougher without it and somewhat smoother with it since I have a burnt valve, but sit running ok. A mechanic said I had a burnt valve so what do I know. There are no starting issues, no misfires,no dying engine problems like before, throttle body is clean, no smell either, so what I cant see must be ok. 4000 miles on it this month.

I've been using it ever since I signed on here and never a check engine light yet.

Some new things I noticed using tcw3, combined city and highway is up about 1/2 mpg, stalling has stopped, wish that constant rough idle would subside, mechanic says i mite have a burned valve, but I have used a gallon of tcw3 on it so far. I will continue to use it just for all the lube qualities u get from 2 cycle oil/tcw3.

Well I've been using Amsoil 2stroke w/ TC-W3 since April and here's what I've noticed in my vehicles listed below.
1998 Suburban w/200,000mi. Fuel pump is quite and truck starts instantly. Idle has not changed, I think it's a little rough because my intake gasket is failing. I could not verify a change in mileage because it may have been affected by oxygenated fuel.
2007 Suburban w/18,000 miles. I bought this truck used and immediately switched to synthetic oil, it burned 2 quarts of oil in 6,000 miles before the next change. On the next change I also began adding the 2 stroke oil. After traveling another 6,000 miles I'm ready for my next oil change and I've only burnt 1/4 of a qt. The gas mileage on the computer is 1 mpg better than it was. It seems to start and idle smoother than before.
1998 Mustang Cobra 25k miles. Up until this spring this car spent a lot of time sitting. Gas mileage is noticeably better used to be 20-21 around town and best highway was 24. Since adding the oil, around town has never been below 22 and last highway trip was 26. Idle is smoother, fuel pump noticeably quieter.
I also have an ATV, riding mower and a push mower. All 3 start with 1 pull and run noticeably smoother.
I am happy with the outcome but I'll admit it's kind of a pain adding after every tank, especially since I don't always fill these vehicles. I will continue adding but i may not be as consistent as I have in the past. I'll see if I notice any performance changes.

Tcw-3
I have now finished gallon number 3 of 2cycleoil. Running the mountains of West Va and the Carolinas kills my mileage no matter what I do at the moment down to 13.5, but on the flat lands last week with tcw3 and no load I got to 17.8, of couse no air was on, and I was not in a hurry , so I ran at 62mph. Over all speed kills mileage big time in this one ton van, and when ur buying 28 gal a pop 3 times a week u can see that my expenses are quite large on fuel. 2 cycle oil is still the cheapest way to go as a UCL and as a cleaner. MMO is ok, but cost more in the long run, but I still use it from time to time, usually right before an oil change.

I'm still using it in the Cobalt, but I cannot see any difference. If I start driving my 92 Camaro again on a regular basis,I will try it without and see if there is a difference.I really did not have a base line before I started using it,and I might have been expecting to much.I still have a whole gallon left.

tcw3
Like sarge said, it is constantly cleaning slowing down the aging process on parts in ur engine. could mean the difference in long term expenses over 5 years or so. I am now running more miles , so I have 4 bottles in the back of the van I fill up so Im ready to pour it in. Im using at least 15 oz a week of 2cycle oil .

I do understand what your getting at, and I wish I had thought to try it with and without, but I thought my wife would be up there in SLO forever. We have only gone up twice since and we drove a rental both times. My daily commute is never the same .... one day the freeway will be closed, next day open, and going home is just as unpredictable. One day 75 and getting passed the next 3-5 and rowing the car home.

tcw3 continues
ok,,,still using the tcw3 2 cycle, but i found some old bottles of mmo, so i used them up recently and all is still well,,my mpg is about the same with mmo, but it takes twice as much mmo as 2cycle oil to do the same thing and when ur driving 15oo or so miles a week, the mmo goes to fast. U can see it in ur wallet, lol. AS far as new stuff to report, I would have to take the engine apart and look at it and Im not gonna do that. My goal,,run this baby till she quits running. Up to 265k now and still running ok, except for possibly that one damaged valve from a sparkplug exploding 4ok miles ago. Without the MMO or tcw3, the engines runs rougher, but with it,,its great, must be helping seat the valve better still. Mileage is ok, still starts fast, acceleration is ok for a one ton van 318 engine. Did 28 hours on the road in one run last week, never shut the engine down except to refuel and add MMo on that trip. I would stay with MMO if it did not require 4 oz to 10 gal..the tcw3 is the better buy and does the same thing..

I've been mixing two onces of Pennsoil semi-synthetic TCW-3 with
two onces of Marvel oil for a 4 oz. additive to roughly 15 gallons of gas.
The car runs slightly better and I see no difference on the plug readings.
It has to help combat the 1.5 gallons of Ethanol CRAP that I'm forced to
buy every time I fill up.
The best part is that buying a qt. of Pennsoil and a qt of Marvel at Walmart
is only $8.50 and that gets me enough for 16 fill ups , which figures out to be
only 52 cents per fill up.
I don't believe you'll find a better bang for your buck

tcw3
when I'm running hard,,the one gallon jugs of 2 cycle tcw3 goes fast. I don't have any new stuff to report, knock on wood all is well engine wise. I have not tried mixing MMO and 2 cycle oil yet, but I may do that, sounds like a fun project and it wont hurt anything. I wonder where Sarge is and any new projects hes come up with this year. I would guess he has over dosed on the tcw3 thread. He did cover that very well. I bounce back and forth on the MMO web site, bobistheoilguy.com site a lot to keep up with stuff . IM on the road a lot , so the laptop is my fun time. I'm still using Rotella t-6 synthetic oil, and now at 270k miles, not using oil yet. I use the KN filter because its good and I like the hex head on the end of the filter so I can take it off with a box end wrench. It is pricey at 13 bucks each, but its alot easier to take off. so that's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol,,,Dodge one ton van , 318 v8, still rolling ........................
