I was a few blocks away from Jeffs office when it happened in an old ladies house doing an estimate. I was standing there, heard a slight rumble, heard the house creaking, and at the same time my dad was asking if i felt that. Sure did.

My freakin job shook. I didn't feel anything. But everyone at my job was on their phones with loved ones.

Sara's latest kick has been trains. So today we went up to Georgetown and watched the Loop Railroad steam engine run.

Yea... too bad.
I'm finding it interesting so far, albiet not without a lot of reading. We just read a series of cases dealing with the definition of "using" and "carrying" in the context of firearms. I find it kind of hilarious that you can have 9 old "smart" people arguing about the meaning of 2 words( it also sounds like something I do to piss off my friends
). Also, loved this dissent that was made in the "persona" of a drug dealer( Don't remember the exact case name off the top of my head). I was so amused while reading that opinion.

Sara is getting so big, Curtis. Next thing you know, she'll want the keys to the TBSS.

She already likes to pretend drive....

She didn't like the whistle on the train....had her fingers in her ears most of the time we were there.

Cruise in tonight was pretty cool. Kevin Morgan was there with his Trans Am and had it parked next to a second gen Trans Am -- made for some cool pics. My favorite though was a white Rolls Royce Silver Cloud with a set of ghetto wheels and tires. It actually worked for the car.

I felt about a 9.8 on the erection scale at the brewery tonight. Good lord........she walked by and I wanted to say something cool but all I could muster to my friend was "Did you see the ass on that?" Apparently that necessitates a dirty look. I thought it was pretty good though......
Cruise was was cool. As Jeff said. However some people have more money than brains and SHOULDNT HAVE CARS! First up is a woman with a 2004 Corvette coupe. She says "Its a hard top convertible." I was struck and said "Do you mean targa?" to which she says "No, the top is easy to take off." I said "No, I mean the top is called a targa top." She says........"I have never heard it called that." Next up is a guy with a 2001 Corvette Z06. He says "Its a 2001." to which I say "My friend has one just like it but its an 02 with the 405 hp." and he says "This one is 405 hp."
People are stupid f^ckers...........if you dont know what your car is even called or how much hp it has you shouldnt own it. Hell that guy had ZERO idea what Jeff meant when he said we had F-bodies. lol

After racing a Harley on Sunday, coming back home I ran into a red ZR1. First one I've seen in real life. As it came up from behind me my heart started to race a little. I openly admit I wanted to run this car even though I would have lost. It was an older man though and he was talking on his cell phone while just cruising. He paid no attention to me and slowly crept by me and was gone in the traffic. Fail.

Yea it seems as though I ALWAYS run into fast cars on the street when I'm in my Impala and then when I'm in the SS cruising around for hours I see absolutely nothing. It would have definitely been fun to see how I matched up against it.
