um..u see my sig??? lol......and i used to own an 87...... i just looked at the pics and its def worth more than 1400 bucks.....a v8 bird or camaro in good shape of that body style goes for 2500-4k with a lot of miles .....low miles 4 on up to 6

I was genuinely interested, and offered several parts to make the trade more fair. By the sounds of what you told me the tranny may have some issues, you pass off as a "shift kit" making it shift different, thus i wanted to drive it before hand and see. My dad used to have an 89 formula, I know a little about them , and contrary to popular belief am not just a damn ricer kid .You wanted to trade before even driving my Laser, makes me weary of your firebird.
