Clean your car and find another girl they are everywhere. Is this the first time someone said you drink to much?

Just try to keep it to the week end. If you find that your going for a beer when you are having a hard time then you might start looking for something else.

Here's the deal. MOST alcohilics really don't think they have a problem. And even more to the point, they don't think that what they are doing affects anyone else.

But it does. Believe me dude if your wife says you have a drinking problem, YOU FUCKING DO. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

And shitting yourself about it isn't going to help your ass anytime too soon.

I am going to say the girlfriend has a good point. You have made mention of all the times you are hung over for days at a time, puking & feeling like shit. That's a clue your body is trying to give you that you're drinking too much.

As far as some extra slack coming your way because of the length of time you've been with your girl, IMO you already got it if it took 6 years for her to finally leave. Rest assured this wasn't an easy decision for her.

Good luck, issues. I think some help is probably a good idea for you.

I don't know you and I am not going to pretend to, but what the hell is the point of being wasted all the time. Your sides hurt already, your kidneys are probably going to hell and you are slowly killing yourself. You can have fun without drinking. People that have responsibilities do it all the time. IMO, people probably shouldn't try to undertake responsibilities like raising kids or anything else if they are always drinking. It will eventually catch up with you, first it effects those close to you(both your parents and ex-gf say you have a drinking problem) next it will be at work and then just to everyone else. If you value your life, or care about anyone at all try to get some help and find some new hobbies as fast as you can before it completely ruins you. You are not bullet proof and your body can't take this forever.

One drink? How can that do anything, unless it is all psychological. And if it is just psychological, why not just have a glass of water. I can't see one drink doing anything physically.........IMO
