OK, I have said this before. FORD can not make a car that compairs to GM's speed. They always fall short and then have to turn to real performance engineers to make a car worth while. But, since they have such a shitty engine to work with, they need to throw on a super-charger. Even with the SVT's they are only slighly more powerful than a LS1 with bolt-ons (sad, very, very sad). And here is the worst part, the Mustang has gone through 3, I repeat 3 designs and are still not as fast stock as a LS1.
Only 34K miles and still counting (that's from Sept '97)

black- 1986 mustang
They couldnt sell enough camaro's to keep the sob in production. I thought the 2.11 60' was pretty respectable considering the 18's and glassy stock f1's on the rear. And TMF if you ever make it down to florida w/ that all mighty f-body look me up in the fort myers area. I won't be buying a gt500 any time soon, but ill just walk your ass with a 20 year old fox. Bring your buddie with you. Back in the day when the ford guys decided they wanted to go modular is when shit went downhill for ford speed, where as gm stayed with the tried and true pushrod motor and just kept improving it little by little every year. Its kinda like when the 302 hit the streets and was wearing out little iroc 350 and the like. If ford would have stayed with the pushrod engine the mustang would have a 351w w/ gt-40x from the factory, but they wanted to try and push the envelope with the modular crap, and yeah looks like the only way they can get it to run hard is with boost. pros and cons.

Yea, I'll say it again, a 2.11 60' SUCKS! And Me and my Buddy (whoever that might be) will drive 2000 miles right on down there to beat up on your box, opps, I mean fox body. All of us here, including the reasonable Ford guys are very impressed by your knowledge and internet threats.

dude spare me with this rhetorical educate yourself shit, and quit running your mouth. you came in here acting like a jerk and what do you expect? i own a fox, read up on foxes, work on foxes, work on fords for a living as a matter of fact. your year fox is prolly towards the bottom of my list on cars id buy. the interior sucks, i cant stand the four eyed front end, and you dont come with the a9l computer stock.

Lets get back to the issue at hand; I saw this God car of yours at the last Denver Int car show. It was a vert and my wife liked it, so we looked at it up close and at 10' away the interior screamed "HARD BLACK PLASTIC". I'm not kiddin you, the interior in my car blows it away, and what's that car gonna cost ? $60,000 ?

Somebody will figure out a way to put a smaller pulley on it, and if not u can bolt on a 50shot and accomplish the same goal.

Custom Slate Blue- 99 B4C
the dealer here sold one two days ago for $63k. no heresay about sticker and the possibly markup numbers, they sold it for $63K. I might add that it sold for that price a few HOURS after they rolled it into the showroom, so considering how easy it sold for that price it will only get more expensive, definitly not less. MSRP means nothing

whoever buys that thing for over msrp is getting ripped off. Anybody that wants one just needs to wait till all the hype dies down, my dealer hasnt gotten one yet so we'll see what there markup is.

from what i understand ford made it a real pain in the ass to do a pully on the r122 blower, but i am sure someone will figure it out soon enough or jus go ahead and put the kenne bell on. that will happen sooner then it did with the 03.
