Man, it looks like detroit just turns on a switch in the 3rd period every game. Manny let in a weak ass goal. The wings always have trouble in the first round. And the officiating sucks. Wings are the least penalized team in the league, and they got how many penalties last night? They will kill the oilers in the next game. They dominated the game. Ok enough random rambling. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a big WINGS fan! Although I have not been impressed with there performance in the last 2 games. The fact they NEVER clear the puck out in front of there own net is nothing new. What has hurt us so far in this series --- lack of rebounds and hustling. Seems they are playing half heartily. We either need to step our game up or go home. Pretty much cut and dry at this point! Watching the other teams so far the WINGS don't seem to have the hungery for the cup this year as the rest of them.

Very good game last night.
'Dead Things' look very old/tired/done to me.
Seems that the higher seeded teams are taking a real thrashing this years first round.
Ottawa's goaltending is brutal and if they make it to match up with the Devils they will get owned without their precious Hasek imho.

Is Vinny Lecavalier thanking his lucky stars or what? Chara was going to knock him into next week while laying on the ice during that ill-advised fight. Vinny has guts but Chara is a monster!
I'm starting to think that this Senator/Lightning series is meaningless because of the horrible goaltending on both sides. Whoever wins won't get by the Devils and Brodeur. There really isn't that much outstanding goaltending this playoff season like in the past when shutouts were routine night in and night out. The new rules are working but is it for the best?? Not sure. I hate seeing the small, really minor hooks called every few minutes.
