The schools will remain in the same conference for multiple reasons and yes, universities are centers for education first and foremost. We tend to forget that in the great football dominated state of Oklahoma.

State legislatures are not calling the shots for either school either. But we already know OSU will follow OU wherever, because Boone Pickens, you know the one that DOES call the shots for OSU, has already said publicly they will do as OU does.

You didn't answer my question though, which is it spurring the realignments, atheletics or academics.

Athletics for sure but academics and oher factors will keep the two schools in the same conference.

Was looking at ESPN, Pac 12 will not expand.the sticking point? Greedy ass Texas wanting unequal revenue sharing.the artice says the the other 15 schools don't want one set of rules for them and a different set of rules for Texas. I see why people in the midwest don't like the whorns.

I'm starting to feel bad for OU. It's looking like they went "all in" but texass had the cards. OU seems to have been rebuffed by the PAC, B1G, and Boren has a documented disdain for the culture of the SEC(which is kinda ironic). So, now OU entertains staying in the SWC 2.0 IF certain conditions are met? Hmmm, texass can pretty much throw a finger up to that. This a bad situation for OU.
Now things are still interesting to say the least. KU, KSU, ISU, BU all looking around? texass and OU could very well be sitting next to each with their respective hands on the others dicks. Texass demanding OU use some lube while OU gets sand paper...

OU will land on its feet

I do wish OU would have stood up last year and put the screws to texass before Nebraska left, we would have had more leverage that way. Might have kept OU and NU together too. I do think Beebe's days are numbered though, its reported there are enough votes to kick his ass to the curb. Fucker is making nearly $1M annually to suck texass rubber dick.

Nebraska if they pull their heads out of their asses.

Probably their biggest game of the year.

Nebraska, if Taylor can man the fuck up, not turn it over, and we execute. It's his game to lose. Wiscy LB'ers are slow slow slow but very good decision makers. NU should have the perimeter and cutback all night. FB trap will be deadly too as Wiscy knows they are slow on the perimeter. Look for TE Kyler Reed to to be all by his lonesome. Maybe Taylor Martinez can get the ball to him. Yep, there will be a trick play by the NU offense. NU will commit to shutting down Wiscy's run game. Russell Wilson will have to use his arm to beat us. The brothers Pelini think they can get a bad decision or two out of Wilson from cover 2 defense. Wiscy special teams are suspect. If they kick to Ameer he can go house. That all I wanna let out. Should be a fun nail biter game. NU 31 W 27

Badgers are strong this year again. Nebraska is good, but not that good.

I was thinking 14-17 point win for Wisconsin....didn't know it would get out of hand though.
