Haven't posted in a while. Just an update.

98 Z28 M6 - Mystic Teal Metallic - Stock
10 SS M6 - Red Jewel Tint, Solid Black center stripes and hockey sticks on the side - stock (for now)

well, gonna be ordering a gmmg soon. Should sound pretty good after longtubes and a catted y. Along with some sfcs, and the koni/strano setup should make out for a nice ride

Clutch never came in, comes directly from monster. The gmmg annd konis will probably be next week or two and the longtubes, ory, and sfcs will probably be after that. Somewhere in there will be an mgw shifter but I can wait on that.
I'm just pissed my clutch hasn't come in yet. Was hoping to have that done tomorrow

well they are on the way / are in the process of being ordered and will be on the car soon. i like my LM1 but i know it wont sound good with headers. im fine with my bilsteins but konis are always better haha

i think that's a wise choice. rasp sounds terrible. going with kooks or what?

American Racing y-pipes have a pretty nice merge from what i've seen

OK so its been a while but i finally got some stuff dona and got a few pics.
Car was pretty nasty under the hood and i didn't get as many before pics as i wanted since i lent out my camera but i found a spare cheapo one i had laying around. Can't see it too much in the pictures but the headlight had some oxidation.

Here is where it started




Most of the dirt and grime was on the shock towers, behind the headlights, and under the battery. At one point the battery that was in the car was leaking and corroded the area underneath it.

The bumper support was pretty dirty so that was cleaned and painted as you will see in the finished pics

Still gotta get the tint done and my clutch still has yet to come in but so far its looking good

Used 2 rags, and a bottle of heavily diluted purple degreaser. Took a while but it got the job done.
Still gotta take a pressure cleaner to the engine, lots of dirt and grime under the coil brackets but i'm happy with it for now

Looks good man. I'm afraid to take the front fascia off like that, afraid I'll find a rabid raccoon or a pack rat, something stupid to go along with my broke ass power steering and my broke ass ankle But, I digress. You did a great job bringing that car's potential out.

i think the FM5s would look sexy on that car but that's just me. you cant really go wrong either way.
