I have know three women that have had children die..
One being my own Mother (my brother was killed by a rifle shot to the head at 11) NONE of them could even speak for a couple of days...Let alone worry about anything at all..especially something as trivial as food stamps/cash..

My point is there is a special group of people (term used VERY loosely), large in number, in Memphis (and many other cities) who have a system of beliefs and standards that is unimaginably fucked up to those of us who actually do have more than a fraction of an ounce of self respect and decency. The particular person that is the subject of this thread has just one method of thought (caring more for food stamps than children who were just burned alive in a house fire) that falls under this fucked up standard. There are many different ways of behaving and priorities that are likely equally fucked up among this "class" of "people".
