And anyway, when a member IS actually banned on this website, the user title changes to "Impounded" and no avatar is shown.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Hell, my buds and I call/text each other to hang out. The GTO forum is the same exact way as Tech and I am not a tech member. I joined 2/26/08, the day I bought my GTO, and the main site sponsor wanted to sell me suspension parts. WTF??!! I wanted to post
but oh well. He still tries to sell parts to new members. I work at a shop and when the time comes to replace the suspension, I am going OEM or KYB or I will hit up TireRack and install the parts my damn self. I don't beat on my car so I have no need to spend 2-3k on suspension parts.

I would also like to add that I have taken some good info from that site (like my cam choice for instance) but it just seems like you have to read through and figure out who's telling the truth, who's trying to sell their product, and who is acting like they know their shit and don't. And I would also like to concur that their search really has sucked as of late.

There is a lot of drama with the mods over there now, but hte site will go on without them.
The site is about the people. If you have a technical problem and need an answer, you will get the right answer on tech quickly.
There is a lot of talented and inforative people over there who are not mods or admin of the site.
Let the drama go on. Doesn't affect me. Been a member on there since 03, been on here since way before the crash. Just never really came back here after the crash.

There are plenty of people on here with knowledge as well.
Why should I go there if I have questions, everytime I got on here with a question or help or need advice I got it.
Never have I had people to tell me to use the search bar or whatever.
People here are much more user friendly.

Ive read threads where you know half the people giving advise probably have no experience with the topic at hand. I guess that will happen everywhere on the interweb, but its pissed me off in the past. nothing like second hand info getting passed around. then again free advise is worth every penny you pay for it...

I have looked at all the Camaro forums and this is the only one that interests me. If I have any questions they are answered by this community. I don't see any reason to be on another so I think their idea of cloning Camaro forums and yanking databases is a waste of time. Everyone will just end up here in the end.

Black/Screaming Yellow- 99 S/C TA WS6 & 04 Cobra
I only ever went to tech to find info about upcoming projects or problems I had. It's a shame because there used to be great people there who could answer any questions now its like every 16 y/o who has a cam only LS1 running 10's or in other words a bunch of wanna-be Sleepers...

I have and always stay here because the people are great and it is lots of fun sometimes.1999 Trans Am WS6 Black - Forged 346, P1SC (8psi), TH-400, and 12 bolt(3.73's)

Anyone know how much they sold it for? I would really like to know how much a website like that could be sold for.
