    damn dude that's insane! I am in the same situation and I wish I could drop that much weight that fast! I worked out every day until i was about 18, and maybe 10 days since haha. Motivation to get back into working out!

    How fast are you going on that thing? I do 130 rpm and only loose like 350 calories in 30 minutes.

    130 is fast.
    i am just getting back into it and do 70 - 75 for about 45 mins. at a little over 550 - 600 calories.

    According to the machine....
    I go for 30 minutes at around 90-95 on level 8 resistance.
    Says I burn 600+ calories per session.


    I can't imagine going 130RPM....I wouldn't be able to stay balanced.

    Oh I see. You add a lot of resistance. I dont add any. So I guess this week i'll bump it up to 3 or 4 and see where that gets me.

    LifeFitness machine.
    Distance said 3.52 and calories said 656.

    I workout everyday in the morning before work just 1/2 hour of cardio and crunches and off to work. keep up the hard work.

    that sucks man because those ellipticals really are great as far as cardio machines are concerned. They are basically no impact at all, but you still need mobility in your ankles and knees. Its great though, no pressure at all. Have you ever tried one of those ski type cardio machines where your legs just swing? I'm pretty your theres lil to no joint movement except for in your hips.

    That's why I have one. I have a few sports injuries and my left knee has already had two surgeries and I don't want to aggravate it. I love my Elliptical. It's a good workout for me
