Copenhagen Blau/Black- 88 Porsche 951/07 TBSS
Most definitely. I will be posting some videos soon. Have been waiting on the springs to go with the cam. Got em in the other day so the heads will be going to the machine shop next week for some nice P & P! Pics and progress to come. Been super busy with "LIFE" lately so I haven't even made any further progress. But, I assure y'all, it's coming

Hey just wanted to say " hello " and wish you well in the build..I was going to do the same but ended up buying a 87 blk / blk 951 with an 02 Camaro LS1 already professionally installed by Renegade Hybrids from Vegas..
You are gonna love the reliability..torque and the muscle car sound..
Look forward to hearing more about your build.
Regards..

Well, 5th gear swap has been completed. Below are some pics...notice the homemade tool for the transaxle drain plug.
And the Eagle lift makes things soooo much easier. Also, I picked my heads up Friday after a nice port and polish, resurface, and the dual valve springs w/titanium retainers being installed. Props to Jackson Cylinder Head (Jackson, MS).

Oh, and a little background on the 5th gear swap. It's out of a N/A Porsche 944. Different gear ratio swapped over gives me about a 400 rpm drop at idle as well as better fuel mileage and an "estimated" 199 mph top speed instead of 178.

Here are some pics of the gear swap and heads
Thank goodness for zipties. Didn't want those roller bearings to sneak off.

Looking to put down around 500rwhp. We shall see. And yea I'm using the turbo tranny. They are plenty stout enough to deal with the LS1 power.
**UPDATE**
Ordered my custom long tube headers the other day. Waiting on the ceramic coating and then they will be on their way! Also waiting on my COMP Trunion upgrade kit. Figured I'll go that way rather then spending a bundle on some roller rockers.

I would go with a clutch rated at 600 or better, to be safe. Don't want to tear her back down shortly after building.
