ASR is an extra option in your car. IT stands for ACCERLATION SLIP REGULATOR.. Its kind of like traction control except when it feels one tire breaking loose it kicks the power to the other tire to even things out.. It feeds the tire with the least resistance.

My 02 SS convertable with an auto and 3.23's and still bone stock with just an SLP lid, 3,820 lbs. race weight went 13.78 at 102.52 mph.

Now I have ported the throttle body, gutted cats, ASP pulley, and I am playing with HPtuner, removed torque management, have the trans shifting nice,,, and now playing with fuel and timing at the moment. Once that is dialed in it's back to the track for another assessment. After that more mods are in store Larry.

well he does weigh a little more than me...lol

car weight with an iron big-block and being a vert (added weight for structure reinforcing), i would put seriously close to the 3800-4000 range...

i think if i was a low 12 sec., car i might have a chance...
