Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
Yeah I wasn't a big fan of the huge wing when I first saw them back in 1993, but now they've really grown on me, outrageous like the whale tail on some 911s.

Something to consider coming from someone who used to have an 01. As stated there are a few benefits from getting an 01. Didn't read all the posts to see if someone has mentioned it. If your looking for a car and plan on dressing it up and taking it to Carshows, the 2000 will have an advantage. All I've attended still group 91-00 and 01- current. That puts you up against a lot tougher crowd.

Pewter- 2002 trans am
Hey man here is a link to Montana craigslist. I found it a low miles 42,000 02 ws6 for 15,900. Much better deal if you are still looking in my opinion!

Navy Blue Metallic- 1999 Trans Am Formula
Well my opinion is neither. They both sound like very nice cars but your currently driving an 02 with an AT. Protect your money and always spend like your making an investment. All cars depreciate but if you are knowledgable enough you can keep from losing to much of your money.
I would continue looking for a Firehawk or something with low production numbers.
Rationale: Pontiac is history and the TA in my opinion is the best looking of all 3(camaro,firebird,trans am). I believe the TA will always be collectible and 98-02 are the premium! Find a Firehawk drive it and enjoy it, but take care of it because that car will always be worth a good deal of money. The end result is you may spend 20k on a Firehawk but 10 years from now if you own the car it will still be worth a great deal more than a base model TA. Just my 2cents.

Go for the 2001 or 02. I found mine on Autotrader. I live in Florida and my TA Ram Air Black on Tan, very clean $48K was in Louisiana. I rented a car, drove over and bought it. It's my Batmobile and I love it. Keep looking and good luck.
