Afternoon. Got most of the salvageable furniture etc out of the rent house. My dad's poor neighbors lost everything but a crib and a TV. 3 cars all gone. Red Cross came by to give us stuff, we sent them next door, they needed the help much more. They insisted that we take at least water, so we took one case and gave our gratitude.

Yeah, I'm good. My house is well above any flood zones. My dad lost his rent house and most of his fences running north-south.
My brother lost some property, but it didn't get into his house (I knew it wouldn't because I did the elevation certificate on the house)
My wife has a lot of family that lost close to everything. Her cousins found their jet ski and pontoon boat about 1/2 mile downstream.

I must've missed this, was this due to the tornados Artic?

Yeah, the Friday storm that produced the El Reno tornado and dumped rain on you guys decided to come over and take a nap on top of us.
We got well over 8" of rain that night.

Did get some good news today. I passed the national surveying exam. I have to re-take the state exam in October, but it is much shorter, and now I can focus my attention on it since I passed the other.
