I think Wes was being a tad sarcastic when he said that, as it doesn't take two thousand dollars to get an LS1 to run a 12.1. Any experienced tuner can easily pull another twenty to forty (depending on the tuner) horsepower out of a stock LS1 engine, for just the cost of the software. That, in combination with the right nitrous setup, should catapult any LS1 employed vehicle into the 11's, with the right driver, of course....

Exactly, thanks for the help.
I was being sarcastic, I thought that was blatantly obvious, I mean I even put it in BOLD.
$2 Grand in mods, on top of a car that already costs $32K is a lot of cash. Mint condition '02 F-Bodies can be picked up for $17K, and like Street Lethal said, it doesn't even take 2 Grand to get an LS1 into the low 12's.
You lose again Tony. Just drop it already
