Looking forward to pics. Once the pieces all arrive, how long until you start ripping into it?

Box arrived yesterday. It was big and heavy. Pics are coming today. I haven't opened it yet as I was really busy yesterday...but trust me, I wanted to
Box is opened. It looks like I have all the hardware, fan, piping, bypass valve, FMIC and head unit.
Pics coming later today.Last edited by 35th-ANV-SS; 04-16-2011 at 12:21 PM.

OK boys...
Here are a few. I didn't want to open up everything as everything was very well packaged, bubble wrapped, and wrapped on top of that. Here are a few of the goods. Still waiting on the meth kit, fuel pump, injectors, and gauges.

Damn that front mount is thick, I'm used to the front mounts on the cobalt ss/sc and man it doesn't even hope to compare

Nice! Does it run in a sealed oil bath or are those units plumbed for engine oil feed and return?
-

The set-up has it's own oil fed system, separate from that of the engine oil. There is no need to tap into the oil pan like that on other supercharger systems. Recommended oil changes per Procharger's instructions is every 6,000 miles. Here is a link: http://www.procharger.com/superchargers.shtml
I weighed the intercooler this morning. It weighs 26lbs. Holy shit. This thing is a monster!
Also, piping is 3".

How much modification to the radiator support and location of existing components?
-

The intercooler came with it's own brackets for mounting. On TransAms, the fog light mounting has to be modified, however, for Camaro's little to no modifications have to be made that I am aware of. I believe the air pump needs to be relocated (mine is already removed though).
The intercooler mounts very close to the front of the radiator, but there is still plenty of air fed up through the bottom of the car...where the air would normally come from for the radiator.
This particular intercooler is rated for 1300hp. The bypass valve is on the passenger side.
If you go to Brute Speeds website (can't link a non-sponsor), he has pictures of the install on a TransAm so you get a better idea of the fitment.
The AlkyControl tank mounts close to the front fender. The tank is a 1.5 gallon tank. I have yet to receive the Alky kit, push rods, fuel pump, injectors, hardened push rods, and gauges though. These are being shipped from Mark.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
To reiterate what above poster said.
Can't wait to see the work get started
I am excited to see your results, starting to think a rebuild and this setup would be ideal for my goals as well...you, my friend, may indeed have a copy cat in a couple...years.
