When you click on the photo in Photobucket, you will see codes off to the right-hand side. One of those codes will read "IMG".
Copy and paste that code into the reply box here on this forum and when you post, the picture will show in the thread.

Yep Copy and paste the IMG code. You can only post them one at a time. Or, a link to your album if it's not private

Looks like not all of the IMG code is there. If you mouse over a pic, an icon that looks a bit like a gear will appear in the top right corner. Click on that and a drop down menu will appear. Select "Get media links" and another menu will appear. At the bottom will be the [IMG] code. Left click on that and it should say "Copied". Then, in your post box on here, right click wherever you want the picture to appear and select "Paste". You'll see the line of code appear and then when you post the reply the pic should appear.

I did not need two and I already have 2 pickups but I did not have a trip vehicle where me and couple buddies could hop in and go to Carlyle or wherever. I saw the wagon and its different and my favorite year Chevelle and RED so I bought it and sold the elcamino to a bud who has wanted it for years

Well, at least you have what you need and can make good use of and the Elcamino went to a good home

Do you already have the 5.3?
Try to get the ecm and engine harness together with it.
Things to consider -
Wire harness - if you don't get one with the block there are options but they cost $$$ Between $600-$900.
Oil pan clearance
Engine mounts - there are kits that convert classic SBC mounts to LS blocks.
Yr of the 5.3 - 04 seems to be the conversion yr, by that I mean gm went from 24x to 58x reluctor wheels. That's why I said to try to get the ecm with the engine. You can tell what the reluctor wheel is by the color of the crank sensor. Black = 24x, grey = 58x. You can get a reluctor wheel from summit and have a machine shop swap out, far cheaper then the 24x-58x convertor box that is sold.
Intake - you can keep the current intake design with fuel injection or go with a carb design manifold for a more classic look, hell they make carb design with fuel injection. Each has its pro's and cons.
How old is the block? While it's out a refreshing of the oil pump, lifters, timing chain and replace gaskets are encouraged to do. Easy to get to while on a stand vs in the car. Have the block and heads looked over by a machine shop to make sure the block and internals are in good condition. Bearings may need to be replaced.
DOD - need to decide if you want to keep it or get rid of if your block has it. Tuning and some parts swap are required = added costs.
It should fit well in the engine bay. Transmission and drive shaft will also need to be address as well. There are several adapter plates and bell housings just about for any transmission engine combo.http://www.ls1.com/forums/f7/my-6-liter-build-174257/

^^ This. I was going to mention the DOD as well. LS swaps are super common anymore so all the engineering has been done. There are a couple of good LS Swap books on the market and you can pick them up through Amazon.
Welcome to the site!
