I know that. One on each head on the non SVT motors. SVT motors have TWO on each head.

I know of the InTech V8 in the Mark VIII, the 4 cam V8 in the 03-04 Mach I, then the derivitive in the 03-04 Cobra. I am not very familiar with the 4.6 as I am a GM guy.

Saddly I think it was a 1 year option. I think it was factory one or two years on a turd gen also

I don't know my Fords, but what I do know is that I fixed about a dozen 4.6 that had spark plugs shoot out, and a few 5.4 that had the spark plugs break off in the head. Just that alone makes me never want to buy a Ford.

And when spark plugs shoot out and hit fiberglass hoods, they crack. Had 3 do that to me. That car was fun though, it could go places the TA can't.

I've heard numerous stories about that. I worked at a Goodyear shop two years ago and saw a few E and F series get towed in for that. Hell...the coils would break off the valve covers.
