What gravy train am I riding exactly? I am a nurse. I deal with people shitting, pissing, puking, and every other possible human excretion possible. Exactly what part of that job do you consider gravy?

I didn't say your job was easy.......not that mine is either, but just that I wish I would get paid when I am here more than forty hours per week......I average about fifty to fifty-five per week.

Hmmm, cold hard cash...how much exactly would you require per year to look at old nasty stinky sagging parts of people you didn't know or even like to be asking you each and everyday what most people expect when they check into the most expensive spa resort in the world?

Most of our patients act like they are checking into the fucking Hilton... they want to you to wipe their ass after you have rubbed their back and given them their shrimp cocktail.

Consider this, then go check with your insurance company on the level of medical care they will pay for. I can assure you, no stay at the fucking Hilton is included.

like I said.......I didn't say it was easy, but you can't hate it that bad if you still work there, right?

Easy fix...salary vs hourly. If you're unhappy, fix it.

I'm not saying I'm unhappy, I'm just happy to enlighten the patients who seem to think they're entitled to spa like treatment when they come to the hospital for MEDICAL TREATMENT.

There is a difference, just some don't realize it. That's all. I'm on a cardiac unit, we take vital signs every 4 hrs. People bitch constantly that we wake them up. I tell them simply that they're not here for sleep, they're here for treatment.

They can sleep at home once I've ensured that they live long enough after their heart attack to return home.
