Nice. I read in the paper they are only doing 1/8th mile runs? I don't like that.....I will prolly go up to Muncie Dragway this Saturday and watch some 1/4 mile nostalgic Pontiac racing. And hell yeah they're fast! 8s and 9s in the 1/4. Maybe some 7s.

Yeah the 1/8 mile deal seems to be the usual Most of the time back Here when you have a fast car. You should come watch the Next Fri. night 10.5 shootout though! Billy Glidden has been Flying!! .954 60ft times on a Baby 10.5 tire.
We will bring the coupe which runs mid 5's on that tire. Its a Really good turn out.

I've had her, Ole Blue for 15 years. Got her for Christmas the year I turned 16.
She has under gone many changes. This is the lastest change.... 393 Stroker motor (351W), balanced as a 5.0 and is a roller motor, 9" rear end, 3:90 gears, 3 inch cowl hood, 17 inch wheels (and unfortunately spacers), found an original GT500 steering wheel (that was the find of a lifetime!), Hoosier slicks, Billet grill, new front bumpers, has a Hurst shifter with crappy C4 and of course the Corvette Blue for paint (and it desperately needs re-painted).
Still have a long ways to go. But this is just the beginning of the new facelift. Tons of other stuff, just can't remember it all at the moment.

Found my Pontiac hood tach, works still and I have it semi-gloss black. Should install it sometime this week, in the humid, mid-90s temps around here lately!
