I've got an '86 Buick Grand National. It was a 10 second turbo 6. That is now out and a pump gas big block 555ci is going in. It'll have to be carbed for now, but I plan on fuel injecting it when I get the money. Just had the car re-painted and replaced anything I could with fiberglass pieces. I gotta start assembling it now. I'll post pics.

Here are a few recent shots of my '68 Le Mans, just took out the 400 and put in a 406:

Swapped the engine because I was tired of driving the 400 2 bbl. Thought my 406 with headers, Holley 4 bbl, Flowmasters, cam and intake would make it a lot faster. Well, it is faster, but there is only so much a 2.56 rear gear with a Super Turbine 300 (that's a 2 speed AT, folks, with a 1.76 first gear ratio) will allow. Kinda like starting off in 3rd gear in Too Fast, then upshifting to 5th at about 60 MPH. Anyway, the top goes down and at least I have a little rumble/thumping idle.

Nice looking LeMans -- can't beat a drop top on a car like that. I picked up a Cutlass with a 2 speed, but I have not driven it yet. Your description of the experience about matches my expectations.

Yes ma'am!!!
He also helped me do the cam and intake swap in the camaro. Its been a blast working with him, but also I do hang out with him every friday night so its not a typical father son relationship. I am 27 and well I guess he is too, or at least he thinks so. But he is actually 63.

Yep. That's pretty much how it works. You're doing this with your Dad, right?
