i drink beer when i get home or when i eat dinner. But what i drink alot of is liqour. Makers Mark, jack, alot of tequila....that is what i mean by exspensive. I go out alot too, that probably does not help.....what i need is a gf who can whip me.

I get the feeling that at least some of the time, you're drinking because it's there and you're maybe a little bored. A good woman might help change that. Plus some rugrats.

I drink for one reason and one reason only......to get drunk. I don't drink because it settles my nerves, goes well with dinner, or because I like the taste of it. If I have a beer in my hand I'm on a mission to get shit tanked. If I'm not able to get drunk then I don't drink. I'll go weeks or a month without a single beer and then it's on.

To the OP. Yes, if you're drinking when you know you'll be going to work that's a sign of an issue you might have. Just knock that shit off and don't drive or do stupid shit like that and you'll be fine. You're 24....we were all getting drunk on a regular basis at 24. It's when you're 44 with a family that looks bad.

I don't see it as sad or bad... it's a very human thing to do. Hell, boredom is probably a bit of the factor most of us regular posters use message boards in the first place.

I remember once in my early 20's I got paid on Friday and woke up Monday broke. I drank and partied an entire paycheck in 2 days. That was a long ass week but it makes for good stories to tell my grandkids when I'm old.
