everyone has there own liking, ya the vette may handle better ya the vette is faster than a stock t/a and or ws.6.....big deal I love the styleing alot better than a vette my trans-am suits ME there is alot more to a car than stock 1/4 and 0-60, different strokes for different folks as gary coleman would say, In a nut shell I am not trashing the vette i would looove to have one parked next to the t/a, but i'd never get rid of my t/a to actually obtain a vette thats my .02

Pewter- Y2K WS6
folks let me say a couple of things.
1.. warranty my asss... it's got 155,000 on it.
Everytime I was the car or work on it it's just one more stupid thing i have to spend hours fixing. I love the car I love the look of the car.... and i just drove one of the LS3 corvettes that a client bought... and my car with FULL bolt ons but no intake manifold sucks ass... that car made mine feel ridiculously slow.
I love the car I'm more along the lines of keeping it and getting a corvette.... or viper(used) in the future. just gets frustrating as hell to keep finding shit wrong and where other people have mistreated it before.

I would take a 02,03,04 C5 ZO6 over any C6 in "regular" form.
I would love me a C5 ZO6! SEXTITS!
Just thought I would share that.

09 EclipseGT 75 Chevy 4x4- 2001 Trans-Am 13 F-XT
Throw the BS of status, my modded car this and that crap, oh I have a non-functional back seat, and retarded mid-lifers out the window and the vette is a better car. Many people never drove one to truly have facts to base their opinions on. By the way looks come last unless your a girl or it has tits.

what specific aspects of the vette are better. ?
I have driven a C6 LS3 with z51 option package but not much in corners etc. it was a lot faster i thought from seat of pants it was just compter tuned with 2K miles on it. but it didnt' have any of the rattles, rode a lot better etc.
forgot to add that I've never been in a C5 to see how it compared to that C6. I've done about all of the suspension mods to my car short of the front end tubular stuff. handling from stock is vastly different with the complete setup.

I love driving my C5!! I have noticed that folks don't talk to me (cept chic vette drivers), but like the other vette guys, I don't really mind that concession. The bird was bought to keep the heavy mileage off the C5. The weird thing is that I didn't like it as much when I first got it, like you have to get used to it. But resale value aside, how can you compare the 2 machines? Of COURSE I'd trade my bird for a C5.

My father has a 01 ZO6 with a Lingenfelter 427 TT....my WS6 does not come close to it. I would give up my WS6 in a heart beat to have it.
