$8K market adjustment....what a joke. If anything, they need to LOWER the price with this shitty economy we are having lately. Hood luck selling it when you can get just about any car you want for that price.
I love the looks, hate the price. Great job by Dodge, but like most domestic manufacturers....they produce a product that the public likes about 3 years too late.

If you check out ebay you can find em in some different colors. The silver/black and black/black look pretty nice. They need to release it in the plum crazy purple color and it will be sick! Although the price tag will deter many.

Black looks great. I don't know why they are building so many orange ones. The fuel mileage is horrible for a modern V8. Should have good power with mods, but the car is too heavy.
Beautiful styling though.

Yeah Plum crazy would be a great color to bring back. Didn't realize the first year were numbered car's, so I'm guessing that's part of the reason for dealer mark-up. How much more desirable will that really make them later though?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. That body style is nothing like this one. The 67 gto had more of a sedan look with a big trunk lol IMO the 67 GTO is one of the best looking cars in automobile history and this challenger is not even one of the best looking cars to come out in the last 5 yrs lol

Thats what people forget. They expect the new musclecars to be lightweight, high horsepower, great handling, exotic looking supercars. When in actuality musclecars started out as big, heavy, plain looking, horibble handling and braking cars with a big engine. That is why I never understood people complaints when the new GTO came out and people complained it was plain looking and didn't handle well enough. I think the new Challenger is damn nice and should perform quite well for what it is. You have to think Chrysler is not building these things for us, but rich older guys that can afford to spend 50 grand on a retro musclecar. The only thing i have a complaint about is the price. Especially with the markup.

just saying ...People complained when the GTO came out , when the new Mustang came out , when the Challenger came out ..exspect alot more when the new Camaro comes out .. Seems the only thing they dont complain about is when the C6 came out and that thing dont look half as good as the C5,,,my 2 cents

Actually a '67 GTO was a mid size car back in the day! Do you remember how long the Grand Prixs were? Or a Bonneville? I still think the new Challenger is great looking, haven't seen one in person tho to see how big it is. I loved my '67 GTO, my wife totalled it almost 10 years ago. IMO the Challenger has classic styling like the '67 GTO did.
