I have an ACdelco and FRAM fuel filters. Which one do you guys think I should use? I'm thinking ACdelco.... I hear FRAM sucks.

Black- 1998 Chevrolet Camaro SS
(>_<) <--- (Has overlooked this) Wow...I completely forgot to change mine and it has been a year. I guess this is an ASAP thing to do...even though I have to say after taking my car from DC to Colombus OH and back I only had to stop for gas 1 time (450 miles one way) I guess I will be able to get more efficiency out of this.

Artic White- 00 SS Vert.
You should check the facts before talking through your ass.

I am a GM Tech. at a GMC dealer. There is no frame mounted, inline fuel filter. They stopped using them on the trucks in 2004. The information I posted was copied from "GM Service Information", When I looked-up fuel filter replacement.

I just went to a local shop to get mine swapped out. They told me it would cost about 50-60 bucks if I supplied the filter. I told them I'd do it myself. haha

50-60 dollars? screw that, i changed mine today and i'd say it was easier than changing my oil, which i also did. It took me about 20 minutes to do.
I also thought it would be cool to take a hacksaw to my old one and see what the inside looked like. I think mines stock, so its been on 100k miles, anyway, saw slipped and took off a knuckle, that didnt feel good
