A citation can serve as a misdemeanor warrant and I bet it included the names of witnesses who claimed you committed the offense. It didn't survive court because they probably weren't there. It happens ALL the time.
Once again, a reason for the victim/witness to be required to go get the warrant. Make them do something and all of a sudden it isn't that important anymore.

well you make the comment like "cops" are ridiculous....then your situation warrants the cops behavior...but some how he is ridiculous because you were at a known burn out spot...and started your truck..chirped when left and the cop thought the marks were yours ..despite the fact that your b/f was running posi..that most people dont know shit about...sounds right to me..next time tell your b/f to grow some nuts and use the pipe

To be honest and I'm not cop bashing but I've dealt with to many cops lately that have completely blown off anything a younger person has to say based on the fact that it's a younger person. Based on MN laws and police procedures, I would say the girl's story may have merit.
(this is the internet and obviously there is always posibility of her story being complete BS)

16. And we pulled off at the bridges becuase it's the only place you can pull off the road. Theres creeks on either side all the way up my street.
If the guy were to get something more than phone probabtion we probably would have filed it.

Congratulations Dick Tracy you've discovered I'm a cop. That wasn't too hard I hope.
Now dig this:
You have posted enough here to tell me you have issues with the local cops. Okay, fine, and maybe you have reason, but your thread attracted my attention with the title and I've said my peace. Your remarks are not supported by facts, and I dispute their sincerity. That's how I roll.

eh I just do my best to watch it around cops.........for example, I haven't ran a front plate on my car since I got it----my buddy took his off 2 weeks ago while waxing his car, and BAM he gets nailed.......I go sailing past him while the cop was talking to him
luckily the guy was nice and just gave him a verbal warning.
