he didn't even state the year of the cobra, if it is an 01 then it will be a cool race (meaning cooler than seeing a civic in the rear view)

take the civics money and race the cobra to see a real rival race

i'm old school, i love v8's, muscle cars, and of course the sound,

when i was running 12.7's at the track and came across a neon srt-4 that ran a 12.5. I was pissed, alls i wanted to do is go over there and rip that big a$$ wing off, any way a $400 fuddle stall fixed my rage by dropping times to 12.2

The problem went away.....??? this is the second time the car fixed itself. before, the trans made a horrible grinding noise going into 2nd and the gear would violently pop out. went away in two days.

the race though! Im gonna upload videos as soon as my friend gives me a cd of them. we have finals so it might be a few days.

His car was not stock by the way. he had a honda motor in there but not from a civic, he wouldnt tell me wat it was but it was pretty mean. I won be the way. about 2.5 car lenghts. I raced the cobra, lost obviously but that was inevidable. also by about almost three car lenghts. Beat the s2000 by alot. A kid with a srt4 was there. that was the best video because we were dead even. He was the only other person that raced for some money (only 20$ but wat the hell). The second time around I barley beat him. by like 1 foot.

what all is done to your car? if you only lost by three lengths to the cobra, then you should get some nittos 555r, air lid, headers,and tune then rematch for $100, should be close but if you can launch hard enough you should stay in front.

a stock civic, someone should shoot this guy in the face, i thought we were past these shamefull days of cars, when a si civic was "fast" this isnt even a vtec civic,

i have a 1.6 l civic, and the other day i got beat by a grandpa in his buick le sabre, the cars are not meant for speed,.

around here where i live, theres a company called revline. all of us guys know u see that sticker on the car, dont mess with those civics, there are about 20 daily driven 9-10sec street civics that will dissapoint you.

I don't believe that for a minute 10/9 second civics are not streetable let alone daily drivers. The amount of boost required to get a civic to run those times is just ridiculous and the supporting mods needed to get that kind of power to the ground in a FWD car would be no fun on the street at all.

yeah, actually two of my friends have gone rice on me. one has always been into hondas, and is building a race gas turbo civic, and the other one is getting a civic, and also building a flat black 68 chevelle. the chevelle kid is gonna reset the rev limiter to like 9500 rpm he said, and put in a stage 5 clutch and spray the living daylights out of it. the rest of the motor is gonna be stock except an intake and fart can. i think hes gonna blow it up.

+what stock honda motor besides the s 2000 makes power up that high yeah it will rev there but i bet the stock engine peaks at 6

The only thing honda ever made that was fast is a crotch rocket!!! Now then here is a good story for ya
the usual crap talking between a C5 and my buddies 01 SS C5 had around 500rwhp as did the SS they get lined up C5/m6 hole shots SS a/4 and then all hell breaks loose

SS grabs 2nd hard and there was dirt on the road shoots him sideways 180degrees into a ditch and rolls twice Vette wins and camaro dies! good thing he got a hole shot!!! Have a good night everyone and nice cars by the way
